Tag Heuer Monaco Mikrograph 1/100th of a Second Chronograph Watch
Brushed and polished thick and square large case with a good
scratch-proof crystal. Big pushers on the side and logo on the sold
crown. Red trim on the crown follows the
Tag Heuer looks.
It’s a pretty heavy watch, I mean it’s that kind of a watch that you
really feel on your wrist. Small hour and minute hands in the center of
the dial which is sort of a 3D dial with different hands on two levels.
Small ticking seconds hand at 6 o’clock and the largest hand on the dial
is actually the big seconds hand.
The 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock chronos are just for show and there’s a
date window at 12 o’clock which the original does not have. I mean the
original does not come with a date window at all. The upper mid section
Tag logo looks nice too so overall this pretty complicated dial looks
good. It takes you a while to get used to zoom-in the center of it to
read the time because at first you just find yourself staring at the
other details before you focus on the time. There’s a Tag logo on the
side as well that looks pretty massive. Two tone stainless steel
bracelet has a good weight as well and a good grip on the wrist.
