This particular version of the TAG Heuer Monaco is a limited edition for 2013. It is called the Monaco Calibre 12 Automatic Chronograph ACM Edition. There are two important elements to the design. It is actually the second time TAG Heuer has created a watch to honor the "Automobile Club de Monaco" (ACM). This is exactly what it sounds like, a car club in the principality of Monaco in Europe. The ACM gets a lot of limited edition watches made in its honor, and each has the clubs unique logo somewhere on the watch.

 A special edition piece such as this version of the Monaco ACM is a very cool watch and in black, offers a new way of appreciating the collection. A polished steel Monaco is just as good, but there is something very slick about the classic case in polished and brushed black. While this is a limited edition model, it isn't clear how many pieces TAG Heuer will produce.

Toady i will post a reviews about the chopard mille miglia gmt chronograph watch which was launched at 2012 from Chopard.
The Mille Miglia GMT Chrono is an evolution on a design that we all know. Tweaks here are interesting. Let's look at the back of the watch first. Usually there would be a sapphire crystal caseback window. Given that the watch contains a modified 7750 - that we've all see before - Chopard decided to make a solid caseback. They did it with a nice Mille Miglia race engraving surrounded by a ring of perlage. I don't hide the fact that I love perlage, so this design feature appeals to me. There was another limited edition Mille Miglia from a few years ago with perlage on the dial.


The case is up a hair in size to 42.40mm wide. It is still about 15mm thick and has a nice black bezel that is here for the GMT hand. It is about time to expect ceramic bezel inserts on these watches, but I guess we aren't there yet. There also seem to be black inserts in the chronograph pushers, but Chopard doesn't explain what material they use for this. Note that the "1000 Miglia" arrow sign shows up on the watch dial, crown, and caseback.
The movement is here in its high ETA finishing: circular-grained plate, a rotor axis bridge and oscillating weight with “Côtes de Genève”.

But no technical changes have been undertaken: the display of the sub-dials remain at 6-9-12, less elegant than 3-6-9 – but nevertheless a judicious choice in order to balance the whole: the date under magnifying glass at 3 o'clock.

The steel version will be available as a set of 2,012 pieces, while the 18k rose gold version will be available as a set of 250 pieces. Inside the watches are a modified Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic movement. The movement has been upgraded with a GMT hand for a second time zone, and has been COSC Chronometer certified for accuracy. Price for the steel model is $6,610, and in 18k rose gold it is $20,880.

 At first glance, the watch dial looks to busy, too difficult to read.  But then again it has some cool materials that give the watch a very nice sporty and tough look to it – forged carbon case – bezel, crown and pushers in cerarmic – and also some blackened steel on this watch – the caseback and the buckle.  Wow – what a combination of materials!  Even so, I’m not quite sure what to think of this watch….it kinda-sorta-just-a-little-tiny-bit reminds of Audemars Piguet’s Survivor (maybe it is the carbon), but at the same time it is very much a different watch.  In fact it belongs to a completely different collection (Millenary collection rather than Royal Oak Offshore).  I will say that the look of the movement through the caseback is pretty cool.
